Dress

Shoes and clothing must be recognised tennis wear. Jeans, leggings, beachwear, etc., are not acceptable.

Court Usage

In general, Senior Members have priority on courts 1,2 & 3, and Junior Members on courts 4 & 5 but when matches are on, Seniors have priority on Court 4 all evening and Juniors have priority on Court 5 until 8.30 pm. When the courts are busy, members must play short sets and should not play singles.

Keys

Members may obtain a key to the Stirling Road gate and the Clubhouse from Alan Malcolm. Please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. There is a refundable deposit of £5.

Hours of Play

Play under floodlights must cease by 10.00 pm

Young Juniors

Juniors under the age of 11 may play until 6pm Mondays to Thursdays, 5.30pm on Fridays, the responsibility for their safety and behaviour resting with their parents.

Guest Visit Rules and Fees

Adult members may:
• Invite up to three non-members to the club as guests within any calendar month.
• Non-members may play as a guest a maximum of three times in one season (April – March), regardless of who has invited them to the club as a guest.
 
Junior members may:
• Only bring other junior non-members to the club as guests.
• Invite up to three non-members to the club as guests within any calendar month.
• Non-members may play as a guest a maximum of three times in one season (April – March), regardless of who has invited them to the club as a guest.
• Parents of junior members wishing to play with their children are required to become members themselves.
 
The cost per Guest per day is £4 for Seniors and £3 for Juniors
 
The host must sign all visitors into the Visitors’ Book in the Clubhouse (once it is operational again) before playing.
 
All guest fees for the previous season will be collected along with annual subscription renewal fees.
 
Should adult or junior members wish to apply for a special temporary guest arrangement outwith these rules, they may contact the Club Administrator in advance with details for consideration.

General

Please try to avoid entering through the Bowling Club and take particular care when retrieving balls from the bowling green. Access to the Bowling Club is forbidden at all other times.

All members are asked to help keep the Courts and Clubhouse (including the kitchen) clean and tidy.
